Working on new Android App

I’ve been playing around with my G1 phone, and I must say it’s a pretty nifty device. There are a few problems with it (a major one being missing Contacts during display), but underneath the hood it’s a developer’s wonderland.

During my migration from WM5 to Android though, I noticed there’s no SMS import/export tool around… so all of my saved SMS messages from my old phone were not moved over and are still sitting in a backup file. After a few months waiting to see if any current projects would pick up the functionality, I’ve finally got fed up and decided to write one of my own.

Hopefully we’ll see a crude POC in a few days.
